As you know, we recently announced the arrival of ProofHQ’s mobile app. And this month we are happy to announce the release of two handy features for the application, namely Text Annotations and Audio-Video Proofing.
Workfront’s Annual User Conference, LEAP 2016: Extend Your Reach, was held last week at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in sunny Orlando, Florida. The four-day conference was designed to help Workfront and ProofHQ customers extend their project management capabilities and learn from PPM (and proofing!) experts.
The four-day conference featured golf outings, Seth Godin, Captain Phillips, and Magic Kingdom. Not only were there main stage speakers, but there were also plenty of breakout sessions lead by Workfront, ProofHQ and various Workfront customers. And of course there was an interactive room, complete with various booths (including ProofHQ’s) and 1:1 meetings.
At night, we had a different kind of fun planned for everyone. Once everyone arrived on Monday, employees, Workfront and ProofHQ customers mingled in front of exquisite ice sculptures. Magic Kingdom was on the docket for Tuesday, allowing each of us to return to his/her inner child. On Wednesday night, the last night of the week, we were all treated to a delicious meal, customer awards show and a show by Oz Pearlman at Disney’s beautiful Epcot Center. But it didn’t end there. After dinner, we were treated to Disney’s world-renown fireworks and one last shindig.
Workfront did a phenomenal job of scheduling great events for everyone to enjoy. But it is what they didn’t plan on that stuck with me the most.

The ProofHQ mobile proofing app combines the review and approval functionality of ProofHQ’s web-based proofing solution with the portability and convenience of your smartphone.

First of all, a big thank you! Over the last few months, we’ve seen tremendous growth in the use of ProofHQ by marketing teams around the world. With that growth have come challenges delivering the level of performance many of you have come to expect. So today, I’m writing to tell you about some great new upgrades coming to the platform that delivers ProofHQ to you.
The ProofHQ technology team has been focusing intensely on upgrading many elements of the platform, particularly for proof processing and data storage. In fact, this work has been on-going for quite some time. Today, the proof processing team completed a year-long project to upgrade all customers to our new processing engine—a system that will allow us to provide much better proof processing times, particularly during peak hours. For our U.S. customers, you may have seen these improvements already over the last few days.
Additionally, the data team has expanded the capacity and performance of the databases. We’ve made both hardware and software upgrades, which will continue through the next several weeks. These improvements make general navigation through the application more responsive, as well as bring more stability to heavily used areas like Proof Activities.
Finally, we’re focusing on improving network performance, so your uploaded files arrive at ProofHQ servers more quickly than ever. This last week we’ve doubled the capacity on our load balancers. Early tests on our side show upload speeds have nearly doubled as well!

On Monday, 21 March 2016, we will separate our public facing website from the ProofHQ application. This change will increase security and improve site performance. This means that if you are still using our old www.proofhq.com domain, you will NOT be able to access the ProofHQ API.
