First of all, a big thank you! Over the last few months, we’ve seen tremendous growth in the use of ProofHQ by marketing teams around the world. With that growth have come challenges delivering the level of performance many of you have come to expect. So today, I’m writing to tell you about some great new upgrades coming to the platform that delivers ProofHQ to you.
The ProofHQ technology team has been focusing intensely on upgrading many elements of the platform, particularly for proof processing and data storage. In fact, this work has been on-going for quite some time. Today, the proof processing team completed a year-long project to upgrade all customers to our new processing engine—a system that will allow us to provide much better proof processing times, particularly during peak hours. For our U.S. customers, you may have seen these improvements already over the last few days.
Additionally, the data team has expanded the capacity and performance of the databases. We’ve made both hardware and software upgrades, which will continue through the next several weeks. These improvements make general navigation through the application more responsive, as well as bring more stability to heavily used areas like Proof Activities.
Finally, we’re focusing on improving network performance, so your uploaded files arrive at ProofHQ servers more quickly than ever. This last week we’ve doubled the capacity on our load balancers. Early tests on our side show upload speeds have nearly doubled as well!
