We believe that things don’t have to be complicated to be good. We designed ProofHQ to simplify the process of getting design work reviewed and approved. We love our product and we hope that you will too

How ProofHQ.com came about

The team behind ProofHQ.com has many years of experience in the design, graphic art and web industries. We know the pain that is associated with getting designs reviewed and approved - we’ve been there, we’ve bashed our heads and suffered the bruises to prove it.

Having looked around for a product that we could use, it appeared that email attachments or simple review tools were the only options and so we decided to make the world a better place and create a solution for ourselves and others -  for the  good of mankind. We now spend each and every day continually working on the product to make it the very best that it can be, giving the best possible value to our customers.

We’re delighted to have an ever growing base of users - from brands to agencies to publishers and printers. The list is endless, not to mention weird and wonderful and we love them all. We work closely with each of them to make sure that they always get the most out of our product.

Management Team

ProofHQ is led by Mat Atkinson, founder and CEO and Anthony Welgemoed, CTO.

Before starting ProofHQ Mat founded Mtivity, which is a software company providing workflow and automation solutions for enterprise marketing teams, agencies and print service providers. Prior to Mtivity, Mat worked in the publishing industry. See Mat's LinkedIn profile.

ProofHQ History

The concept behind ProofHQ was developed in late 2006 and the company was formed in early 2007. Extensive research and development took place in 2007 and 2008. The product was launched in beta in mid-2008 and a full launch took place in late 2008. 

ProofHQ is an independent company. It has been funded by management team and has no external investors.

Locations

ProofHQ team members work in multiple locations including the UK, the USA (California, Texas, Florida), Poland and South Africa.
