New “Decisions” Email
One of the most frequently requested workflow features is an email notification that is sent when a decision is made.People find the “All comments and replies” setting creates too much email, but “Hourly summary”may leave too long between a decision and the notification, especially on a time-critical project.Today we added a new setting of “Decisions”. This sends an email notification only when a decision is made..
To choose the Decision notification on proofs:
Anyone can edit their email notification setting for an individual proof.
- Open the proof
- Go to the Tools menu.
- Select Email Notifications.
- Choose “Decisions“
.
To choose the Decision notification as your default setting:
Registered users can choose this setting as their default on all proofs that they are involved with.
- Open the dashboard
- Go to the Personal settings menu.
- Scroll down to the Proofing Defaults section.
- Click to Edit the “My default email notifications setting” field.
- Choose “Decisions“.
- Click Save.
NOTE: If you are an Administrator you can set this as an option for users in your organisation.

How about only comments and replies with no decision notifications. When I select “all new comments and replies” I get everyone’s decision. I would like only comments and replies to the comments. Thanks

We will be removing decisions emails from All Comments & Replies and creating a new setting of All Activity.
