Attachments on Comments

We have just added a new feature that allows you to add attachments to comments. This has been requested by many clients and has a huge range of uses. For example, reviewers can upload alternative text as a Word doc, or alternative images. Proof owners can upload reference documents or brand guidelines.
Attachments can be added to both comments and replies. You can select one or more files to attach. You can also type a comment or a reply to go with the attachments.
The files that you have selected will be displayed underneath the comment or reply text.
When you save the comment or reply, the attachments will be listed underneath the text. You can click on the attachment link to download the attachments.

It’s an extremely important feature and has been missing from all of the online proofing services I’ve looked at. This raises the bar substantially for Proof HQ. With this powerful new feature, I think I can finally dive in and offer my clients online proofing. I’ve been hesitant until now because I KNOW my clients will want a proofing system that they can attach their changes to.

Question: From an admin/billing perspective, is it accurate that uploaded files would impact the storage/usage for my account? ie. a 50 MB TIF would use 50 MB of the total monthly storage allotment for my account.
