More ways to create a proof version

All users now have an additional way to create a new proof version from a version that already exists. This feature is easily accessible from the New proof page (see 1. in the image below).

We are pleased to announce the latest enhancements to the ProofHQ API:

• New parameters owner_id and uploader_id added to the SOAPFileObject: With this update, you can now easily determine the owner and creator of a proof.
• Get callbacks on Satellite accounts: Now, Hub accounts can obtain the account-level proof and user callbacks of Satellite accounts.
• Turn off email notification option within the proof viewer: Users can now be prevented from sending themselves email notifications when making decisions, allowing greater control over what emails are being sent.

We are pleased to announce a number of improvements to the ProofHQ API today:

• Callbacks on user events: If you are registered for the events, you will now be notified if a user is added, activated, deactivated and deleted, allowing for improved synchronization between your system and ProofHQ.
• Callbacks on Satellite accounts: A Hub account is now able to set account level proof and user callbacks on Satellite accounts.
• restoreProof(): This new method allows restoration of proofs via the API.
  Satellite account decision settings: A Hub account is now able to manage decisions for Satellite accounts. The affected methods are: getDecisions(), updateDecision(), createDecisionReason() and getDecisionReason().
• SOAPPlanObject parameters: We have added enterprise, user, storage and proof limit parameters to SOAPPlanObject. You will now be able to get detailed information on plan limits and plan type (for example, standard versus enterprise).
• Force folder privacy: If a parent folder is private, all sub-folders will now be made private as well.
• Electronic signature support: The addition of electronic signature support when creating proofs, which means you are now able to enable or disable electronic signatures via the API. The affected methods are: createProof(), createProofs() and createProofVersion().

Today, Monday, 22 April, we have introduced several product enhancements including Box integration enhancements, and additional PDF Print summary information:

Enhanced Box integration

Enhancement: When a proof has been created from a file stored in Box, a comment will be displayed with a link to the proof.
Benefit: You are now able to conveniently access a proof by clicking the link provided in Box.

One of the top priorities at ProofHQ is to keep our customers up to date with the product changes. We are happy to announce a new series of webinars showcasing our latest product updates and features. More importantly, these live events will provide ProofHQ users with the valuable training needed to easily incorporate the enhancements into their ProofHQ experience.

On Tuesday, April 2nd, we will be releasing several enhancements to ProofHQ including improvements to proof audit trails, the way we integrate with Box and our API.

Audit trail enhancements

We will soon log the activity for whether new proof notifications were chosen to be sent or not in the Proof details page. This will improve your audit trail by showing whether the user adding the reviewers chose to send an email notification or not.

On Tuesday, March 12th, we released several updates to ProofHQ and the API, including enhancements to our popular ProofHQ Desktop Uploader.

Desktop Uploader enhancements

The ProofHQ Dropzone is a convenient way to let people send proofs to your ProofHQ account. The ProofHQ Desktop Uploader is a great way for you to upload large or multiple files to your ProofHQ account.

In this release we added Dropzone features to the Desktop Uploader so that large files, or large volumes of files, can easily be submitted to your Dropzone.

On Monday 18th February 2013, we will be releasing a number of enhancements to ProofHQ.

Multiple URLs when creating a proof

You will be able to enter multiple URLs in the web capture field by separating them with a space. This means you will be able to create a proof from multiple web pages even faster.

On Monday, 28th January 2013 we will be releasing the following enhancements to ProofHQ:

• A new floating menu will be added to the Folder details page. This menu will become active when you select items in the Folder details page and scroll down the page.
• Automatically archived proofs now no longer appear in the Recent items list in the Dashboard
