This week we have rolled out several product enhancements intended to help ProofHQ users to increase productivity and ease-of-use. The enhancements include:
- Single sign-on with SAML 2.0 support allows you to use one username and password for ProofHQ and other multiple platforms to save you time and eliminate cumbersome multiple login details
- New Folder details “All items” view now includes un-archived proofs, files and subfolders in Folder details to keep you on track with all items in your folders
- Deleted comments are now captured in the activity log on a proof and you will be notified about this action via email to improve audit trails and meet compliance regulations
- Satellite account administrators can choose a new owner for items when deleting a user to ensure continuity in your workflow
Folder details: new standard view “All items”
Within the Folder details page, there is now a new standard view called “All items” that will display unarchived proofs, files and subfolders.
You can select the “All items” view or change views by using the menu at the top of the Folder details page (1) and clicking on a view (2).
Single sign-on: SAML 2.0 support
We have added support for SAML 2.0 for our Enterprise customers, which is a technology that allows you to use one username and password for multiple platforms to save you time and prevent you from having to manage multiple accounts. So, instead of coming to ProofHQ and having to enter your login details, you will be redirected to your single sign-on provider to login and then you will be redirected back to the ProofHQ page you were trying to access. If subscription is enabled on a proof, then you can also subscribe in the same, convenient way.
To enable single sign-on, an administrator must go to your Accounts settings page where there is a new tab called Single sign-on. Inside here you will need to provide some details such as the SSO URL, Login URL, Logout URL and Certificate fingerprint.
To learn more about Single sign-on, view our Help page here.
Deleted comments are now logged
To improve audit trails, we now capture deleted comments in the activity log on a proof and also trigger an email notification with this information.
Satellite accounts: Deleted user’s items
When deleting a user, you are now able to select a new owner for the deleted user’s items.
