Hi Mauricio
It is by design that you now have to choose to show the custom message section on the New Proof page.
This has been discussed internally and it was decided to leave this section collapsed by default. However, if you use the "message" function, the custom message box is shown automatically - please see screen casts http://screencast.com/t/PoNs1trVQr and http://screencast.com/t/6HRhuhBg
Kind regards
Lee
Lee,
I'm not following your screen casts. It shows that an email was already sent to "some user". I think Mauricio is referring to the fact that when you start a new proof you MUST click "custom message" every time or your default message (the one set up under personal proofing preferences) will not show up. Does your answer mean that the Proof message template that we set up in the proofing defaults is really NOT the default?
Hi Mauricio, Brian
As noted, the New Proof page has been designed to show the message section collapsed by default. This has been done based on much usability testing performed during the design process.
This means that if you want to include your custom message you should click the link in that section. The default message saved in your Personal Settings, is the default custom message should you choose to include a custom message. If you do not choose to include a custom message, the standard email notificaton wording will be included.
The further information provided (in regards to the 'message' function)was just for your reference, to explain that we do show the custom message section expanded by default when using the message function. (This was really just an fyi for you, which I thought might be of interest.)
I hope this is clearer now.
Regards
Lee
