Dashboard Progress Icons, can these be set to ignore the Author?

Can progress icons be set to ignore the Author when displaying the progress of the proof. This would make it easier to quickly see all the approved proofs.

For example I have a proof with 2 Reviewers/Approvers, both have approved the proof, but the overall proof progress does not show the approval because to Author has not approved the proof.

Why would the Author need to open the proof and click approved? Would be not be easier to set the Author to be ignored for approvals?

    DMC,

Thank you for the email. We do have on our development roadmap additional roles for proofs or enhanced roles for proofs that will not require someone with the ability to Add Reviewer and Versions to also not have to make a decision.

The way that the Author role is currently configured is that a decision will be required. Note that the Author can make a decision of "Not Relevant" to the proof if their decision is not required. Note that the owner of the proof can also update the Authors decision to be Not Relevant from the Proof Details page using the inline editing function.

When we make the adjustment to roles on proofs we will announce it on our blog here: http://www.proofhq.com/html/blog/

Please let me know if you have any questions on this.

    Regards,
    John Schuller

Would it be possible to include the decision status of the proof in the search results, at present if you want to search for a proof and see its current decision you have to open it or click on the options and go to the proof detail page, which takes time if you just want to do a quick search and see the status
I'm unclear on the current functionality about automatic reminders. I've read some old posts that mention that reminders were disabled because they were spammy and then one post from about a year ago where some reminder functionality was going to be added back. What is the current status of reminders? I really liked the suggestion of reminders based on whether the file has or has not been opened. It looks like this was added to the roadmap but I don't see any evidence of reminders in the options. At a minimum, we need one of the following: -Default reminders set under preferences with reminders going out on a timeframe that we specify. -or- -Set a reminder schedule when the proof is made. -or- -Ability to select multiple proofs and send reminders in bulk. (i.e. not to need to click into each proof).
Would it be possible for the hourly summaries to mention if a new version of the proof has been created within the past hour. As the proof created emails come whenever the proof is uploaded, people on hourly summaries will get this notification before they get the summary and they may miss that the new version has been created as there is no mention of it on the summary
Is there a way to change the type size in the notification emails? Currently it is very small for custom comments being added on upload. Any default text is ok. Or is this an email program setting? Thanks.
Wow, very impressed with proofhq's features so far. There is one major feature that is missing in my opinion that I have used in another solution, and that is the ability to host a live review session for video. During a live review, everyone with access should be able to go to the review and an option to start a "presentation mode" should be enabled. Once the presentation mode is started, the person who is the "presenter" controls the progression of the video, and the video everyone is viewing starts and stops in the same frame. This way, particularly with video, everyone can be looking at the same thing and discuss on a conference call.
